Welcome to Orc’s World! Our server is dedicated to fostering a fun, respectful, and inclusive environment for all players. By joining Orc’s World, you agree to follow the rules outlined below and the Orc’s World Terms Of Service. These rules are in place to protect the overall gameplay and social experience, ensuring that all players can enjoy a safe and welcoming space.
Violations of these rules may result in actions such as a warning, mute, temporary ban, or permanent ban, depending on the severity of the infraction. Our staff members are responsible for enforcing these rules, and they follow established guidelines to carry out appropriate punishments. Staff also have the discretion to address actions not explicitly listed here if they believe a player’s behavior falls within a prohibited action. Punishment lengths are determined based on the severity of the offense and the player’s history of infractions.
Text Chat Rules
- Flooding the chat with repeated messages or excessive character spam disrupts the server experience. Bypassing chat filters or trying to evade moderation tools is strictly prohibited.
- Toxicity, hate speech, discrimination, or offensive language directed at players is not tolerated. Harassment based on race, gender, religion, disability, or any other characteristic is strictly forbidden.
- Encouraging self-harm, suicide, or threatening another player with violence is prohibited. Fake threats—such as sending false IP addresses or claiming to doxx someone—are also not allowed.
- Talking about, promoting, or encouraging the use of cheats or blacklisted modifications is against the rules.
- Sharing, seeking, or threatening to leak personal information about another player is strictly prohibited. Any form of doxxing or DDoSing is treated as a serious violation of server security.
- Promoting other Minecraft servers, linking third-party websites, or advertising social media accounts is not allowed.
- The server chat must be conducted in English for clarity.
Gameplay Rules
- Using cheats, hacks, or unfair modifications to gain an extra advantage over others is strictly prohibited (refer to our modifications policy below for additional details).
- Builds that cause excessive lag, interfere with other players’ ability to play, or negatively impact server performance are prohibited.
- Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics is not allowed.
- Any player knowingly benefitting from another player’s exploitation of server rules will be punished in the same manner as the offending player.
- Scamming, deceptive trades, or any form of exploitation for personal gain will result in consequences.
- Evading punishments is not allowed.
- Inappropriate builds, capes, skins, usernames, or item names is strictly forbidden.
- Lava casting or flooding large areas with lava to destroy multiple bases or large sections of terrain, especially near someone’s town is not allowed.
- Destruction of large areas of land just to annoy or prevent others from building, especially near or at the borders of a town is not allowed.
- Spamming destructive blocks, such as TNT or bed explosions, over a large area to cause massive destruction is not allowed.
- Building unbreakable traps that entrap other players or make it impossible for them to escape is not allowed.
- Lava casting at the borders of someone's town to intentionally destroy the area would be seen as a major disruption and is not allowed.
- Dropping TNT over an extensive area causes random destruction or frustration for other players is not allowed.
- Don’t kill or steal someone’s pet dog, cat, or horse.
- If a player has name-tagged mobs like named cows or pigs, you are not allowed to harm them or take them.
- Don’t camp at a spawn point and kill players right after they respawn.
- Claim blocking other towns without the express permission of the town owner is prohibited. Claim blocking occurs when any town surrounds at least half of another town (includes bypassing with alt accounts and having friends claim outposts)
- If you have knowledge of a player breaking server rules, but do not report, you will also be subject to punishment.
- Engaging in PvP for the sake of annoying or frustrating others, especially when they have no desire to fight, is not acceptable.
- Harassing players who are gathering resources, working on a build, or generally trying to enjoy the game is disruptive. You are not allowed to use PvP to “camp” near these areas and force players to engage in combat when they don’t want to.
- If a player is not in PvP Mode, you should never attack or engage with them, even in unclaimed areas. If a player has PvP Mode disabled, do not use this as an opportunity to kill or steal from them.
- PvP Mode should not be used as a tool for griefing, such as attacking players just to steal their items, destroy their builds, or cause frustration.
- PvP Mode should not be used to camp near spawn points and repeatedly kill players as they respawn. Players should be allowed to recover their items and play the game without constant interruptions from hostile PvP players.
Account Security
All players are responsible for the security of their accounts and personal information. Never share your account or password with anyone. Any actions performed on an account are the responsibility of the account holder, so take care to safeguard your credentials. Modifications Policy
Modifications to the game can enhance gameplay, but they must not provide an unfair advantage or violate the server's integrity. Mods that alter game mechanics, give players an advantage, or automate gameplay are strictly prohibited. For a detailed list of allowed and disallowed modifications, please refer to our Modifications Policy. It’s important that all players comply with this policy to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone. If you’re ever uncertain whether a modification is allowed, feel free to reach out to a staff member for clarification.
